Poole Boat Charters is a sales booking agency, acting in this instance on behalf of the Owner specified in the booking invoice.

Consequently, whilst we have authority on behalf of the Owner to accept your booking and conclude the arrangements with you, your booking and thus your contract for the charter of the Boat will be between you and the Owner directly in accordance with these terms and conditions. The Owner will therefore be directly responsible to you and Poole Boat Charters will have no liability to you.


Please arrive at Poole Quay Boat Haven (BH15 1HJ) at least 15 minutes before your departure time. Please wait at the top of the ramp (pavement side), when crew member will meet you and escort you through the security gate into the marina. Unfortunately if you are late arriving this may reduce your time on Charter.


When a booking is made, a non-refundable deposit is required. The full cleared balance is due before 14 days prior to departure.


If you cancel, you will forfeit your deposit. If you cancel after you have paid the full balance, we will offer a refund (less your deposit) only if we are able to re-book your trip. If you arrive with fewer numbers than booked we do not offer a partial refund.


In the unlikely event that the Owner has to cancel, you will be offered an alternative date if appropriate or a full refund.

CANCELLATION  (due to bad weather)

If the weather conditions are so poor that the Skipper makes the decision that the trip will be unsafe, or very unpleasant you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date. However if you decide that you do not want to take the trip due to the weather a refund will not be offered.


Unfortunately  it is not possible to extend the finish time if guests are late arriving,  it may be possible to offer a shortened cruise. Under these circumstances no refund or part refund will be given. We strongly recommend guests arrive early for their charters (there is plenty of seating on the Quay & coffee shops near the marina).


Where a complimentary picnic is provided by the Owner, the contents of that picnic is at the sole discretion of the Owner. The Owner is unable to accommodate any requests in this respect and no guarantee is given that the contents will be free from any allergens or specific ingredients.
